Remember, a few weeks ago, we let you discover the behind-the-scenes video of our wedding photo shoot inspired by The Great Gatsby. We wanted to share with you the wedding trends of 2012.
In fact, Baz Luhrmann will mark the end of 2012 with his new movie, The Great Gatsby, which will transport us into the refined world of the 1920s.
Last Monday February 13th, we met up at 7am in Room Grenier of L’Auberge Saint-Gabriel. It can actually take 2 to 4 hours to prepare the make-up and hair of a bride. Amal, from Amal Afoussi MUA, was the first of our partners for this creative to arrive to prep our models, Cindy and Alexandre.
Between 8:30 and 9am, both designers who helped create the atmosphere, Vanessa Sicotte from Damask & Dentelle and Leslie Passerino from Kréavie began to install the elements of the décor. Vanessa came up with the original concept. She, Leslie, and Charlotte Laurent from TELEGRAPHE, then decided of the overall design.
Creating an ambiance for a wedding creative is not an easy task if you want a perfect result. And the same dilemma goes for real weddings. It’s all about setting directions and following them.
During the setup of the décor and the sweet tables, the entire team got acquainted. One point in common? They were all social media lovers.
The CandleWax photographers snapped pictures of these few quiet minutes before the beginning of the shoot.
All day long, a lovely mood floated in between the walls of Room Grenier. A creative project requires a lot of patience and energy to obtain the finest result. The goal is to make people fantasize, let’s not forget it!
After lunch, the partners of the creative were gathered to record the interviews, conducted by the team of Ioan Films, before initiating the shoot with the “bride and groom.”
The day was wrapped around 7pm.
Many thanks to our entire team for this magical atmosphere! We greatly appreciated to work in your presence and your professionalism.
The wedding planning team.
