Chabroux and Rouvinez for a perfect match
For two nights only during the event MTL en Lumière, L’Auberge St-Gabriel will have the privilege to welcome as guest Chef, Lionel Chabroux from the Relais Miégeois. This young Chef was named “Discovery of the year” by Gault and Millau in 2011 and now has two stars in the famous Michelin Guide. He will be joining our Chef Émilie Rizzetto to create a savoury, sophisticated casual menu.
The food and wine pairing will be presented by Philippe Rouvinez from the renowned Rouvinez Estate, a family business founded in 1947. The wines that he will present are elegant, delicate and well-balanced and will pair perfectly with Chabroux’s cuisine.

Cosy atmosphere for our Swiss fondue evenings
The 16th edition of Montréal en Lumières, that will be held from February 19th to March 1st, has selected Switzerland as the featured country (and we must admit, we are quite happy about it). When speaking of Swiss gastronomy, fondue comes into mind and L’Auberge has prepared special evenings where this dish will be honoured. We will have the privilege to have as guests of honor Mr Raoul Colliard from famous restaurant Buvette de la Saletta and his daughter Marielle. They will travel from their beautiful native Swizerland, home of the original Swiss fondue, to Montreal to present this national dish.
What better place to savour a warm cheese fondue than in L’Auberge’s addic! Cozy atmosphere and the decor that reminds of an authentic alpine chalet… Simply perfect!
