L’Auberge Saint Gabriel at the Montreal airport

Taste the sky

Fine-dining enthusiasts from Montréal and abroad can now enjoy the city’s local flavours and Auberge Saint-Gabriel‘s haute cuisine at a new location: Montréal-Trudeau airport.

Extensive work has been done to improve the traveller experience by offering them a more functional and vibrant space in Montréal’s image. The international jetty’s expansion has made it possible not only to add the cultural and artistic touch of four Montréal museums, but also to greatly enhance restaurant services, much to the delight of gourmets. Travellers can now indulge in the tastes that make Montréal an international dining destination, including fare from foodie favourite Auberge Saint-Gabriel.

Over the years, the Auberge has become a veritable institution and a leader in Quebec gastronomy. Émilie Rizzetto, who was the chef at Auberge Saint-Gabriel since April 2014, is now running the new airport restaurant. Her inspired and inventive dishes satisfy even the finest palates yet remain accessible, comforting and unfussy, which perfectly ties into the new establishment’s vision of giving travellers who are just passing through the opportunity to savour a gourmet meal and fine wine.

This new Auberge Saint-Gabriel space offers a unique ambiance that is modern, warm and distinguished all at once. Without a doubt, this lovely open-concept restaurant will provide travellers with a delicious stopover that will make them want to return to Montréal for a longer stay as soon as possible. And with more than 15 million passengers visiting the airport every year, many, many happy travellers will have the chance to discover our cuisine!

They can get their day off to a great start with a poached egg and hollandaise sauce served on a homemade danish; a mushroom tart, bacon and a poached egg; or French toast with fruit compote and lemon mascarpone. Many more delicious options are on the menu for lunch and dinner: roasted Cornish hen, pan-fried trout, braised pork shoulder, tartares, charcuterie and cheese plates, duck confit, gravlax… It’s a long list! Auberge Saint-Gabriel also offers an inspired selection of cocktails as well as local and imported fine wines—all the more to get your mouth watering, if that’s even possible.
